Purple-edged copper male  

Family: Lycaenidae.

Flight Time: July-September.

Size: 28-32mm

Altitude: 400-1800m

 

 

Purple-edged copper female

The drabber female is pictured below. The male is similar to other coppers, the black spot together with the purple edging makes recognition possible though.
