Morocco orange tip - Anthocharis belia
![]() |
Family: Pieridae. Flight Time: March - June. Size: 36-40mm Altitude: 0-1800m

Notes: A fairly widespread species in Spain in the Spring. Similar to the Orange tip, Anthocharis cardamines, but with a yellow ground colour. Quite a difficult one to photograph as they don't settle that often and when they do it tends to be on tall flimsy flowers which sway in the breeze.
