A similar species to the Green-veined
white, Artogeia napi. Somewhat more delicately marked with the
small grey bullet shaped intrusions on the forewing apex. Prefers
boggy areas near Alpine meadows. Mark Ogden's upperside photo shows how heavily suffused the butterfly is. |
