A very scarce butterfly in Europe, confined to a few localities in eastern Europe. The best identification feature is the black discoidal spot which is furthe from the edge of the wing than in the Bath white, Pontia daplicice. This specimen was photographed in Bulgaria by Mark Ogden. |
